CJ AND FREEDA

My name is CJ.  I served 8 years in the United States Navy.  I’ve been on multiple deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq during my time in the service. I suffer from PTSD with anxiety along with other disabilities. Since my civilian life started in 2014, I struggle with simple daily tasks and I have little patience. I’m not comfortable in public settings, a simple run to the grocery store is not obtainable right now. I use to always be out living life, now I’m confined in the security that is my home, this is where comfort lies. I have so much I would like to accomplish in my life, would love to go back to school also my ultimate goal is to be a farmer. I feel that having a service dog will help me handle daily tasks and to get out the house more. I worked with Give Us Paws for quite a while to find a great dog and I am happy that I met Freeda!
